Administrative issues delay the buoy deployment back at its mooring site
Administrative matters dealing with the appointment of a new IP for the OAMMS project, once Dr. Cruzado has moved to private sector, have prevented us to deploy back the oceanographic buoy at its location in the Blanes Canyon head.
All non-administrative issues are already resolved and we just await for the approval of the CSIC in Madrid to put back the machinery into motion.
Hopefully, the new IP will soon be appointed and the project will run again with all its vitality!
Missing field observations is not healthy because
Public is expecting having news on marine conditions
The CEAB-CSIC is attempting to become the observatory into a reference European observing system
The European marine observing system demands this and more observatories!
The ocean observations can not wait for too long! |
